All alarms are dispatched on
F-5 and initially operate on F-1.
Single company responses (including First Responder runs) stay on F-1. Box alarms and multi-company responses either
go to F-2 (north end) or F-3
(south end), or F-4 if both
F-2 & F-3 are in use.
Each radio has the E-911
talk group (included in all city radios) and two event channels (Event A and
Event B)
which can be accessed by
multiple city agencies. The mutual aid
channel can be patched to 33.62/33.70 if requested. The simplex/talk around channel (859.4875) is programmed in all
FD radios (F-16, I think).
